Pure Rituals — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Pure Frequencies ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Pure Rituals mobile app (the "App"). Pure Rituals is operated by K2 Trade Ltd., trading as Pure Frequencies, and is separate from the Pure Frequencies e-commerce store at purefrequencies.com, though both are run by the same company.

1. Information We Collect
When you use Pure Rituals, we collect the following:
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and a password. If you sign in through Apple, Google, or another third-party login, we receive a unique identifier and your email from that provider.
App usage data. We track which rituals you play, how often, ritual completions, favorites, and which forks you've selected as yours. This is used to personalize your library and improve the App.
Device and technical data. We automatically collect device type, operating system version, app version, language settings, time zone, and crash logs. We do not collect precise location.
Subscription and payment data. If you subscribe to Premium, payment is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not see or store your card details. We receive a record of your subscription status (active, cancelled, renewal date) so we can give you access to Premium content.
Communications. If you email support, we keep that conversation so we can help you.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the data above to:
- Run the App and give you access to your rituals
- Personalize ritual recommendations based on the forks you own and the intents you choose
- Process your subscription and confirm payment
- Send you transactional emails (account confirmations, receipts, password resets)
- Fix bugs and improve the App
- Respond to support requests
- Send marketing emails about Pure Rituals or Pure Frequencies, only if you opt in (you can unsubscribe at any time)
3. How We Share Your Information
We don't sell your personal data. Ever.
We share data only with these third parties, and only as needed to run the App:

Apple App Store and Google Play — for app distribution and payment processing

Supabase — to store your account and ritual data

Resend — to send transactional and marketing emails

PostHog — to understand how the App is used

Crashlytics — to detect and fix bugs
Each of these providers is contractually required to handle your data with the same protections described in this policy. They cannot use your data for their own purposes.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
4. Data Retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we're legally required to keep records (e.g. tax or transaction records).
Crash logs and anonymized analytics may be retained longer in aggregate form.
5. Your Rights and Choices
You can:

Delete your account and data at any time. To delete, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account inside the App, or email rituals@purefrequencies.com

Revoke consent for marketing emails by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email

Cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings
If you're in the EU, UK, California, or another region with specific privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA), you also have the right to request a copy of your data, restrict processing, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
6. Children
Pure Rituals is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we'll delete the account.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures (encryption in transit, secure database storage, access controls) to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.
8. International Users
Pure Rituals is operated by K2 Trade Ltd., based in the United Kingdom. If you use the App from outside the United Kingdom, your data will be transferred to and stored on servers that may be in the US, EU, or elsewhere. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the App or by email before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
